Introduction
More than a year ago I published a article with my list of the top 10 Mac apps which I use at the moment. This here is a refreshed list after another year of using OS X..
1. Google Chrome
Still my favorite webbrowser and at the top of my list because I use it all the time when my computer is on.

2. PhpStorm
My editor and weapon of choice to write code. It’s auto-completion, code generation and integration with all of my favorite services makes it a complete package.

3. iTerm 2
A far better terminal emulator than the by default installed one. It has support for themes and can be activated with a hotkey.
4. Git Tower 2
The best graphical Git client which helps you reverting, committing and merging.
5. Alfred
A replacement for the spotlight app in which you can add your own workflows. This can be used to ssh into remote servers.
6. Mou
A markdown editor with support for live preview and custom themes.
7. Parallels Desktop
A better and more performant alternative for Virtualbox.

8. Mamp Pro
A XAMPP alternative with a GUI for adding virtual hosts and even setting a custom PHP version for each host.
9. Sequel Pro
A app for MySQL Database managment.

10. Transmit
The best file transfer client with support for ftp, sftp, nfs and even Amazon AWS.
