Creating a checklist with instructions on how to get your task done.<\/p>\n<p>Need to write an important paper? Break it down into smaller amounts of work.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research Topic<\/li>\n<li>Write out headlines<\/li>\n<li>Write out the different headlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"2pbe8\" data-offset-key=\"dg6um-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"dg6um-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"dg6um-0-0\">After breaking it down create physical todo list where you can cross of the things you did with a pen. I don&#8217;t know why, but I get a lot of satisfaction from crossing of a item on a physical list.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"2pbe8\" data-offset-key=\"8sfvj-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"8sfvj-0-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"2pbe8\" data-offset-key=\"bpgef-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"bpgef-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bpgef-0-0\">If you would like to organize your lists look into <\/span><span data-offset-key=\"bpgef-1-0\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bulletjournal.com\/\">bullet journaling.<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>2. For this method you need a physical timer device like a kitchen timer.<\/p>\n<p>Set the timer to 25 minutes and start working. After the time is up set the timer for a 5 minute break. After the break set the timer again for 25 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VFW3Ld7JO0w<\/p>\n<h2>3. Use apps and your location to get less distracted<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2867 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.robinglauser.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/DSCF1428-e1514397313340-1024x461.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.robinglauser.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/DSCF1428-e1514397313340-1024x461.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.robinglauser.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/DSCF1428-e1514397313340-400x180.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.robinglauser.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/DSCF1428-e1514397313340-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you get distracted by your environment you need to change it so you can work without disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>On your computer you can use <a href=\"https:\/\/getcoldturkey.com\/\">Cold Turkey<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/stayfocusd\/laankejkbhbdhmipfmgcngdelahlfoji?hl=de\">Stay Focusd<\/a> to block websites. Either for a certain timeframe or with a time limit so you won&#8217;t get lost on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and co.<\/p>\n<p>Another trick is to change your environment and go out to a coffee shop to work.
