Fixing Canon Error 853

Canon Error 853 is a common error that affects Canon printers and it is caused by the Secure Print feature. This feature is designed to keep sensitive information confidential by requiring a password before printing the document. However, this feature can sometimes cause issues with the printer and result in Error 853.

Fortunately, there is a simple solution to fix this error. All you need to do is disable the Secure Print feature on your Canon printer. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Go to the control panel of your printer and navigate to the “Menu” option.
2. Select “Function Settings” from the list of options.
3. Look for the “Secure Printing” option and select it.
4. Turn off the Secure Print feature by selecting “Off” or “Disabled”.
5. Save the changes and restart your printer.

After disabling the Secure Print feature, the Canon Error 853 should be resolved and your printer should work normally. If you still experience issues with your printer, you may need to restart your computer or update the printer driver to the latest version.
